As a company we have a strong culture and ethos based around transparency with our clients and all of our fitters are aware we must meet high standards and expectations when it comes to site presence.
We understand the importance of having the right fitters for your project. As a medium sized team we’re perfectly positioned to ensure our installers skills, experience and approach meet project requirements.
We complete around 500 individual projects per year ranging from individual items of joinery to large packages in single dwellings or large office fit outs.
Being exposed to this much installation gives us a fortunate position to be able to track and predict timeframes and make learned decisions on design and methodology.
Many of our clients take advantage of this by using our consulting service to improve the efficiency of their installs. This includes estimations from drawings, surveys and attending sites to write Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
InJoinery operates on a structured booking system to ensure efficient project management. We request advance notice for scheduling, with confirmations sent four weeks before commencement.
The process begins by discussing a project’s needs. This includes our site fitting FAQs, clarifying project scope, site conditions, and coordination with other trades. Any rate adjustments, such as travel, are agreed upon via email. A deposit, contract, and detailed project scope are required to finalise a booking. A project is confirmed once the deposit is received and contract terms are agreed.
Our team of 25-35 fitters is selected based on client requirements and project scope. We emphasise professionalism, problem-solving, and adherence to high safety standards. All fitters hold CSCS certification, and we invest in ongoing training. Our expertise spans three key areas: commercial fit-out, high-end residential, and prime residential projects. We excel in high-pressure environments, technical detailing, and luxury construction, including international projects on yachts and estates.
We primarily serve London, the Home Counties and the Costwolds but also accommodate international projects. Clients must provide a brief scope of work, including location, drawings, and scheduling needs. From here, we can provide an estimate of fitting, including any advisories on design/manufacture from an installation perspective. While we provide skilled fitters and tools, we do not handle mains wiring or plumbing. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00, with prior notice required for overtime.
Hourly rates vary by role, with overtime and weekend work incurring additional charges. Clients typically cover expenses like parking or tool delivery. Projects are invoiced weekly; our payment terms generally are ten days from receipt. Cancellations within five working days incur a 50% charge, while those within ten days have a £300 fee. Deposits, usually 50% of the first week’s labour, are required in advance and deducted from the first invoice.
